FEATURED WORK
OUR DESIGN PROCESS
-
We begin with a free 30 minute phone call to learn more about the nature of your project. If there is a good initial fit, we’ll schedule a full on-site consultation to flesh out project scope, style and budget.
Consultations last approximately 1 hour and are $250 due at the time of scheduling.
Through this visit we will confirm next steps and fit for design.
-
An estimate for your design will be provided by email for design along with a description of the project’s scope. A contract will be provided with a request for 50% deposit to begin.
-
The design phase takes approximately 3 months and includes site analysis, mood boards and a conceptual design to hone in on vision, style and direction. A round of review and feedback takes place and then we move into final design and master plans which include the full plant palette and a detailed master plan. Another round of review and edits occurs at this final stage. Adjustments are made and the final plan is sent via email.
Designs usually begin at $2,500-3,000 for small/partial designs and start at $5,000 for full landscape design.
-
The plan is now ready to solicit a bid for installation and build from a trusted contractor. We will facilitate this whole process and review the final estimate with you. Once details are confirmed with the contractor, we schedule the build.
Build estimates can be anywhere from $10k to $100k+ depending on size and scope of project. At this time, we also put together an estimate for the plant budget and project oversight. We procure plants, orchestrate layout, and coordinate with trusted contractors and partners to bring your vision to life. Project oversight and design alignment is critical for making sure the plans are implemented accordingly and is usually estimated around 10% of the build estimate.
-
Sometimes all you need is a little guidance and direction. Someone to support you in your gardening journey. You may have questions on a garden you inherited or advice on what plants to put where.
A la carte sessions are 1 hour, in- person and include a follow up email with notes. These sessions are $250, due at the time of scheduling.
If you need a little more, special projects are billed at $125/hr. This may include a site visit and focus on a specific element like a plant palette for a specific area, mood board, etc. Follow up materials included.
